Syed Aqeel-ul-Gharavi is one of the most popular and richest Indian writer who was born on February 2, 1964 in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. Ayatollah Syed Aqeel Gharavi was born in Banaras, India in 1964 however, his entire family moved to Najaf in the early years of his young. In Najaf where he received his first education, and then after a few years, he moved into India where he finished his secondary education at an institution in Banaras. After that, he was able to graduate in Jamia Millia Islamia University in Delhi. After graduating and pursuing his studies, he chose to pursue the religion of Qom despite his desire in medical science. In Qom where he was educated by many instructors. Additionally, he was admitted to the seminary in Mashhad in which he was a student for a number of years.

He was in 1994 when he received Ijazah (permission) for Ijtihad granted by The Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi and from the moment, he was mujtahid.

Over 22 writings in Urdu language have been published , which include different areas such as theology, philosophy and supplications, among others. A few of these works are inspired by his speeches that he delivered during the Imambargah Shah e Shaheedan, Karachi. He also wrote a number of publications that are written in English, Arabic and Persian languages. The first literary journal “Adabi Kainaat” was published in the year 1980 at the age of 16 years old. His published works include:
