Trindall made his grade appearance for Canberra at the end of Round 20, of 1993 against Cronulla. After 1996, Trindall joined North Sydney and was made a regular with the club. Trindall participated in the team’s preliminary final loss to St George.
The year 1997 was the most successful for Trindall. Trindall was involved in 25 matches in the 1997 season as Norths reached the semi-finals against Newcastle. Trindall made 44 appearances for the club before departing the team to join Wests Tigers. Trindall then went on to play with Wests for 2 seasons before leaving the club in 2003 to join the London Broncos.
