Stefan Ustorf (born January 3 1974 Kaufbeuren, West Germany) is a German executive in the field of ice hockey and former professional ice hockey player who played some time playing for the Washington Capitals in the National Hockey League and played primarily within the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). He was a participant at 4 Olympic Games.
In the 2011-12 season, his 21st professional season , and the second time as Eisbaren Berlin’s captain in the 2012-13 season, he was hit with concussion that ended the season after just 23 games. While still experiencing post- concussion-related symptoms fourteen months later, and other injuries not directly related to it, Ustorf announced his retirement at the close in the season 2012-13 on the 7th of March 2013. On December 28, 2016 Ustorf was awarded his jersey number 14 removed by the Eisbaren team.
In March 2016, Ustorf was inducted into the German ice hockey Hall of Fame.
Ustorf was a member of one28 caps with his country’s German national team. He played at 4 Olympic Games (1994, 1998 2002, 2001, 2006) and the 2006 World Championships and the 1996 World Cup of Hockey.

Ustorf was a player in the ranks of youngsters at ESV Kaufbeuren and made his debut in the German top-tier in the 1991-92 campaign.
He was a part-time player during the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Washington Capitals following his selection in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft. He played the total of 59 NHL appearances. After a couple of years in the minors with stints in both the AHL and IHL after which he went back to the sport in Germany.
On May 10, 2014, he was named Director of Sport at Eisbären Berlin and moved to Head of Player Development in May 2017. He parted ways with the Eisbären organization in December 2019. Prior to that, the club had told him not to renew his contract at the conclusion of the 2019-20 season.
