The series’ pilot episode earned Page a nomination for a Creative Arts Emmy Award at the 65th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony, hosted on September 15, 2013.
In July 2014, Page was fired from the program. A spokesperson for Cartoon Network confirmed to BuzzFeed that “Skyler Page is no longer an employee at Cartoon Network Studios”. Spencer Rothbell, one of the writers on the show, began to voice Clarence for the remainder of the first season.
