Sita Chan is one of the most popular and richest Actor who was born on March 10, 1987 in Hong Kong. Sita Chan (Chinese: Chen Xi Yi 10 March 1987 17 April 1987 – 17 April 2013) is a Hong Kong Cantopop singer and actress. Her career began in 2011 and sang under the Sun Entertainment label. Teresa Carpio and Tak Bo Lam were her vocal coaches. Sita was a singer in 2011and then released two albums and received numerous prizes throughout the course of her professional career.
On the 16th of March, 2012 Chan dropped her debut album “Crazy Love”. On the 16th of June, 2012, she staged her first concert called “Crazy Love Music Live” at the Kowloonbay International Trade & Exhibition Centre and also invited some of the most famous celebrities from the Cantopop industry to listen to her music live which included Hanjin Tan Justin Lo and Jade Kwan In the meantime Chan began to work on the preparations for her second album “Let Me Find Love”. The album was released in July 2012. Her single “Gossip” (Fei Fei ) was the first single from her second album. The song was inspired by her Korean hit song “sigan eul geoseulreo” (originally sang by rin [ko] ). The music video for “Gossip” was deemed successful and got 1.9 million views on YouTube. She then released three other songs from her album to the charts. The album came out on December 19, 2012. She was among the few new artists in Cantopop. Cantopop music industry capable of releasing two albums in the span of a year.
On 17 April 2013, at around 2:26 am, Chan reportedly lost control of her car due to bad weather and fog on the Hoi Po Road flyover, hitting the curb before crashing into the central divider. “Let Me Find Love” was her last song sent to radio. Many Hong Kong celebrities and many Hong Kong netizens expressed their condolences via various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Weibo, Hong Kong Golden, and Discuss forums.
In March 2013, Chan represented Hong Kong at the Hong Kong Asian-Pop Music Festival, she sang her song “Gossip” to compete for the “Asian Super Star” award.
Chan was officially introduced to the singing profession in the year 2011 after she signed an agreement to Star Entertainment, and her debut song was “Sad Remembrance” (Ji Nian Bei ). Chan has stated her interview in which she said she was influenced to bring to the stage through her parents, as well as and her heroes Jade Kwan and Kelly Chen. Chan was a student in singing as well as piano classes with her parents from an early age. She went to Heep Yunn School for her secondary schooling, and was a participant in several singing contests. At her primary school she served as a student chorus and the fencing team. As a representative of the schools that participated in the fencing team, she took home the inter-school women’s EPEE of both 2003 and 2004. Additionally, she was also the first female runner-up individual epee in 2004.
As of 2005, Chan was awarded the title in her first contest.
