He was born in Queens city located in New York City. He was a linebacker for Henrico High School. In his junior season of 2011 Finch was the top player on the team, in tackles with 161 and 10.5 sacks. When he played his senior year in the year 2012 Finch was once more the leader of his team, with 123 tackles as well as 7 sacks. Finch received eight scholarships to play in college football. His top three choices included Temple, Penn State, and Old Dominion. The Temple facilities impressed him and his their academics Finch confirmed his commitment to be a player for the coach Matt Rhule and the Owls in February of 2013.

In 2016, knee injuries limited Finch to just four games. He was granted a medical redshirt exception, allowing him to play in the 2017 season.

Finch signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent on May 11,

2018. The free agent offer by the Titans to Finch was the highest among the 22 undrafted free agents signed that season. On September 1, 2018, Finch secured his place on the Titans’ 53-man roster for the 2018 season, after a strong preseason. He recorded his first career tackle on September 23, 2018 in a 9-6 Titans victory on the road against the Jacksonville Jaguars. On September 30, 2018, Finch recorded his first career sack in a 26-23 overtime victory against the Philadelphia Eagles.

For the season of 2014, Finch was moved from defensive line. He was in all 13 games . He also played with 11 games. In the opening defensive play of the team’s first match at home against Navy Finch forced a fumble, which was recovered in the final zone to score the score of a touchdown. The next time they played, with Delaware State, Finch recorded his first interception of his career, in which he returned it 65 yards to score the touchdown.
