Shamiel Gary (born May 31 the 31st of May, 1990) is an ex- American player and football security. He was a player in his first two seasons of college football at Wyoming in which he was an All-American Freshman, after which he transferred from Oklahoma State and redshirting in the year 2011. He was accepted to the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in the year 2014. He also was a player with The Chicago Bears.

After the high school system, Gary was recruited by Air Force, Kansas State and Wyoming. He decided to go to the latter school, where he was a strong safety for the head coach Dave Christensen. On September 5, 2009, in the opener of the season against Weber State, Gary recorded seven tackles and three interceptions. In his first year as a freshmen Gary started thirteen of his 13 games as safe safety. He tied for the team’s leading interceptions (3) and was ranked 5th on the team with defensive tackles (98). As of 2010, the player had 5 passes defended and one intercept. After the conclusion of his sophomore year, he was transferred into Oklahoma State to be closer to his family as well as his grandmother who was suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. He was unable to play in the 2011 season due to NCAA rule regarding transfers.
