Samuel Ngodji is one of the most popular and richest Musician who was born on January 30, 1984 in Bucharest, Namibia. Tukonjela HaiyamboNgodji (born on January 30, 1984) who is often referred to by the name Samuel Ngondji is a Namibian musician. Ngodji was previously was known as Qonja became famous as a kwaito artiste in 2005 after his smash song 54321 as well as Koek n Jam which he recorded with his childhood pal along with fellow singer Mappz Capofi. He has also been appreciated and appreciated by Namibia’s best Kwaito stars like The Dogg, Gazza and Sunny Boy. The work of his has instilled Exit, Mushe and many others who are aspiring artists. The first two albums of his are highly regarded within the Namibian Kwaito industry, and have changed the standards that music is played in Namibia.

In 2010, he collaborated together with The Dogg on an 8-track album called Lets Celebrate which was released the same year. The album debuted on Christmas Eve, 2010.

In December 2015 he released his fourth album titled Wealthy Governments which he sold for N$1000 a copy, a record in the Namibian music history.

In November 2017 he released his sixth album Onggushu which he also sold for N$1000 a copy.

Ngodji began his conversion into Christianity since 2009, and has been performing gospel music since. The stage name he used to use was Samuel M’yamba, and the name changed changed it to Samuel Ngodji. The name also was changed for his label Lowkey Records to Highkey Records.

Ngodji was born in Romania, Bucharest where his father and mother were in school during the struggle for liberation. At the age of four old, he moved to live at the home of his dad at Luanda, Angola. The family moved back to Namibia in 1990 , when Namibia was declared independent. Ngodji lived his entire childhood living in Khomasdal along with his dad while his mother lived in Tsumeb. Ngodji was educated in the “Gammams Primary” and “Dawid Bezaidenhout Secondary Schools” prior to entering the Windhoek Vocational Training Center for an Electrical Engineering Fair. After graduating in 2006 Ngodji decided to join his father’s company in the management of his construction business.

Following the release of the album, Ngodji stopped his music to finish the course at Cape Town, South Africa. He also became a good acquaintance from The Dogg. The rapper released a single on Radio in the year 2007 entitled “Owela” featuring traditional damara singer Axue. That was the same year he made an appearance on The Dogg’s critically highly acclaimed album You Can’t Forget. While on hiatus from music, Ngodji became acquaintances with a variety of artists from the business which included Gazza as well as Sunny Boy. He was in the album of Gazza Still The King album and on Sunny Boy’s The Sleeping Giant. The trio also appeared on his album re-emerging Mdakadaka. Ngodji released his first single from the second studio album back in the month of October with a top-rated video. The album’s comeback came out in December 2008 and was huge success. It would be his last album of his hardcore kwaito.

In 2012 after a long break, Ngodji released his final album under the name Qonja, Gone Gone Gone as free digital download.
