Sam Latu (born 21 June 1988) is an Australian former professional footballer who played during the decade between 2000 and 2010. He was a representative player for Tonga as well as on a club basis at Mascot Jets and Balmain Ryde-Eastwood Tigers, both in the National Rugby League (NRL) for the South Sydney Rabbitohs and the Wests Tigers, and Newtown Jets as an wingsman.
In mid-2011, Latu was released by the Wests Tigers to join Sydney Roosters feeder club, Newtown Jets
In the year 2010, Latu joined the Wests Tigers. He made his first appearance for the club towards the end of the season, however, he injured his knee during the game, and was unable to play again in the same year. The next time he played was round 6 of the 2011 season, as a replacement for injuries sustained by Beau Ryan and Lote Tuqiri.
