Rony Azar is one of the most popular and richest Lebanese footballer who was born on February 20, 1983 in Beirut, Lebanon. Rony Azar, (Arabic: rwny zr; born 20 February 1983), is a Lebanese professional footballer who plays forward for Racing Beirut’s Second Division club.
Azar was a member of the Lebanon under-23 national team that qualified for the 2004 Summer Olympics qualifiers. His performance helped his side reach the second round. Azar made his international senior debut for Lebanon on June 9, 2004, in the 2006 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Maldives. Lebanon won 3-0. Azar was a player for Lebanon in three of the 2006 World Cup qualifiers.
In 2016 Azar moved on a two-year loan to Tripoli, from Safa. He stayed there two seasons, scoring two league goals in 18 games in total. In 2018 Racing Beirut bought Azar from Safa on a permanent deal.
Azar was a member of the Lebanon’s under-23 national team from 2003 to 2004, during the 2004 Summer Olympics qualifiers. Azar also played three games for the senior team in the FIFA World Cup qualifier 2004.

Azar, who was born in Sin el Fil, Beirut, began his career in Nejmeh Sahraa at the age of 13. In 2002-03, Azar helped his team win the Third Division of the Lebanese. He was promoted to the Second Division.
Azar started his career in the youth system at Nejmeh Sahraa. He helped them win the Lebanese Third Division 2002-03 and was promoted to the Lebanese Second Division. Azar, who had been in the Lebanese Premier League for 10 seasons, moved to Safa in 2005. He helped Safa win numerous cups during his time there, including the club’s first and second league titles. He was also the 2008 AFC Cup runner-up. Azar was on a two year loan to Tripoli and joined Racing Beirut in 2018.
In 2005, Azar moved to Lebanese Premier League club Safa. He helped the club lift their first two league titles, in 2011–12 and 2012–13, their first two Lebanese Elite Cups (2009 and 2012), and their first Lebanese Super Cup (2013). Azar also won a Lebanese FA Cup with Safa, in 2012–13. Azar was also runner-up at the 2008 AFC Cup with Safa, losing the final 10–5 on aggregate to Al-Muharraq. Azar scored 25 league goals In his 10 seasons at Safa.
