Rhian Nokes is one of the most popular and richest Welsh footballer who was born on February 13, 1989 in Port Talbot, Wales, United Kingdom. Rhian Nokes, a former Welsh rugby and football player was born 13 February 1989. She started playing football in Cardiff City as a goalkeeper. She also represented Wales’ women’s national team. Later, she switched to rugby union.

After pleading guilty to sexual activity with children, inciting a minor to engage in sexual activities, and sexual activity while in a trust position, Nokes was sentenced to seven year imprisonment at Swansea Crown Court. Nokes was accused of pretending she had a brain tumor. She also was accused of using her position as a coach in sports to have a relationship with a girl aged 15 years old. Nokes was a teacher at Port Talbot school when she met the girl, who was only 13. Nokes claimed she had a terminal brain tumour and shaved her head to fool people. Later, the pupil told police that Nokes “manipulated” her into entering a relationship.

Nokes was a member of the Wales women’s rugby union team and one of six uncapped athletes named in the squad for 2016 Women’s Six Nations Championship. The Welsh Rugby Union issued Nokes a lifetime ban following her 2018 conviction.
