Reece Simmonds, born 7 January 1980, is an Australian former professional rugby league player who played in both the 2000s and 2010. Born in Sydney, he played in the National League for the St George Illawarra Dragons from 2002 to 2006 and 2011 respectively. He also played with the South Sydney Rabbitohs in 2007.

Simmonds was a coal miner and played in lower-tier rugby league competitions with Collegians Wollongong or Wests Illawarra. After breaking his leg a second-time, Simmonds retired in 2010. However, he was persuaded by Wests to play again and won a local premiership. He was also the captain of Illawarra Division at the NSW CRL Championships.

Simmonds was a South Sydney Rabbitohs player in the 2007 National Rugby League competition. He played in only 7 games. Simmonds was a South Sydney feeder club player, playing for the North Sydney Bears in the NSW Cup grand final against Parramatta. Simmonds scored a score with 15 minutes to go before Joe Williams kicked the field goal with three minutes remaining, making it 15-14. Norths lost the grand final to Parramatta’s Weller Hauraki, who crossed the line for the match-winning try.

Simmonds, a Eagle Vale St Andrews junior worked as a greyhound handler prior to making his debut with St George Illawarra during the first round of 2002 season. In 2002 and 2003, he played 14 fullback games.
