She reached the third round at the Wimbledon Championships in 1977 and 1979.

She won two doubles titles in Switzerland and Austria with Helen Cawley, while she also won three Avon Futures doubles titles in North America with Bunny Bruning. Fox defeated Lesley Bowrey to become the singles champion of the Tasmanian Open in January 1977.

Fox was a junior player and finished second to Mima Jausovec in singles at the 1973 Orange Bowl. She won the U.S. singles title in 1974. In 1974, she won the U.S. singles national title for Girls’ 18s. Fox was a Rollins College student for two years, before becoming a pro in August 1975.
Fox participated in the World Team Tennis Competition in 1975 (Pittsburgh Triangles), 1976(Cleveland Nets), and 1978 (Phoenix Racquets).
She was married to Arthur Borinsky who was a business man and marshal. In 2006 she was inducted into the MetroWest Jewish Sports Hall of Fame. Fox is currently a professional tennis coach in Chatham, New Jersey.
