Erin Routliffe is one of the most popular and richest Tennis Player who was born on April 11, 1995 in Auckland, Canada. In October of 2010 Routliffe took home her doubles championship at G4 held in Burlington. She took her first singles title as a junior at the same event a year later. In October of 2011 she made it to the quarterfinals of singles and doubles at ITF $50,000 tournament in Saguenay and won over world No. 229 Alize Lim in the second round. She made it to her second consecutive 50K doubles semi-finals in Toronto the following week.

After that, she had a series of tournaments that she lost in both the opening or the second rounds and then she went on back to win her championship in Irapuato. She along with Kazakh’s Anna Danilina were top seeds however, they were beaten in the semi-finals 7-6, 6-4, against two of the final champions, NZer Paige Hourigan and Australian Astra Sharma. In the quarter-finals, she fell of her subsequent two tournaments in Mexico and in the opening stage at the WTA tournament in Bogota.

Routliffe and Guarachi took a chance that they would be able to qualify for Wimbledon, and became the last team entered. They had straight sets wins over Priscilla Hon and Arantxa Rus, and Anna Kalinskaya and Viktoria Kuzmova, in the qualifying matches, before taking the eventual champions, Barbora Krejčíková and Kateřina Siniaková, to a third set in the first round of the main draw, the score being 6–2, 2–6, 6–2 to the young Czechs.

Routliffe advanced to her first professional singles final in July 2016, at the 25K in Winnipeg, where she was defeated by fellow qualifier Francesca Di Lorenzo in straight sets. In early October she won her first professional doubles title, partnering Andie Daniell, at the 10K in Charleston.

The next destination took place at the ITF event in Burnie and she was the participant in one of the more bizarre incidents that have occurred in the past. She was forced to withdraw from her singles second round qualification match with Irina Ramialison due to what was later revealed as a minor case food poisoning. In addition to ending at the top of the list as the Lucky Loser, she was scheduled to play Ramialison again. She was able to prevail with ease, however, she fell in its second-round match against Maddison Inglis. She was paired with Fanny Stollar in the doubles and both lost their quarter-final match against Paige Hourigan and Destanee Aiava in a tie-break match that lasted for a long time. Stollar and Routliffe had two match points, 9-7 and two after that, but they lost on Hourigan as well as Aiava’s final point of the match, the final ending at 15-13.

Erin Routliffe (born April 11 1995) is a New Zealand professional tennis player who was previously a player for Canada. She achieved a record-breaking singles ranking of the world’s No. 591 on the 22nd of October, 2012 and a record-breaking junior ranking of No. 17 on January 21, 2013. She was a student at her school, the University of Alabama and was on their team of tennis from September 2013, until the time she graduated in May 2017. She majored in public relations. Routliffe is double NCAA doubles champion, along with Maya Jansen for the 2014 and the 2015 seasons. Her victory at the year 2018’s Hardee’s Pro Classic in Dothan, Alabama allowed her to climb through the 200-mark of the rankings of doubles in the very first time as her victory just two weeks later at Charleston, South Carolina pushed her into the top 150. The runner-up position she earned at the Citi Open in Washington DC took her into the top 100.

Routliffe followed that with a month-long training block in New Zealand before heading to Cairns for the first of a series of ITF tournaments in Australia. Beaten in singles qualifying, she and first-time partner Astra Sharma were second seeds in the doubles, and performed right up to that ranking. They met the top seeds Naiktha Bains and Xu Shi-lin in the final and, after a poor first set, couldn’t convert either of their set points in the second set tie- break, eventually losing 6–1, 7–6. In Darwin, she and Ellen Perez lost in the quarterfinals. She had better luck with Freya Christie as her partner, reaching the semifinals in Brisbane and taking her ninth doubles title of the year in Toowoomba, but lost with different partners in the first round in both Bendigo and Canberra.
