Ramon Tribulietx Santolaya, a Spanish football coach and former player, was born 20 September 1972 in Barcelona. He left the club in June 2019 to become a manager at ISPS Handa Premiership Club Auckland City.
Tribulietx won seven consecutive OFC Champions League titles from 2011 to 2017, which is the longest consecutive streak by any manager in any international or continental competition. Auckland City qualified for seven consecutive Club World Cup competitions as a result. Tribulietx led the Navy Blues to an historic third place finish in 2014 FIFA Club World Cup. They lost to Copa Libertadores champions San Lorenzo after extra time, before beating Cruz Azul in a penalty shootout.
In addition to his management duties at Auckland City, Tribulietx has also enjoyed external coaching roles, acting as technical advisor for the Canada women’s national football team at the 2012 Summer Olympics (winning an eventual bronze medal), and for the Solomon Islands national football team during the 2016 OFC Nations Cup.
He came briefly out of retirement while manager of Auckland City in 2014, playing several games for Northern League Division Two side Warkworth AFC in 2014 under current Wellington Phoenix goalkeeping coach Paul Gothard.
In 2008, Tribulietx was appointed assistant manager of Auckland City by Paul Posa. He was appointed co-manager at Auckland City in 2010 with Aaron McFarland. Tribulietx has been the sole manager of the club ever since. He won the playoff series three times and won the league in six of his eight seasons.

Tribulietx graduated from the Institut Nacional d’Educacio Fisica de Catalunya with a degree as physical education in 1998. His first job in management was as assistant coach at newly promoted Segunda Division A side UE Sant Andreu. Tribulietx was promoted to UE Figueres at a similar level the following season and then, upon the club’s dissolution of the club, to UE Castelldefels.
Tribulietx was born in Barcelona and signed for the Central United, North Island Soccer League champions in 1999. He returned to Spain after sustaining a broken arm in a reserve fixture, but he only stayed there for two months.
