Radames Pera is one of the most popular and richest Film Actor who was born on September 14, 1960 in New York, United States. Radames Pera, born September 14, 1960, is an American actor most well-known for his role in Kung Fu’s 1972-1975 series as “Grasshopper”, the student Kwai Chang Caine.

Radames starred as Kwai Chang Caine, a young man from Hunan Province in China, on the ABC television series Kung Fu. Caine, an orphan from Hunan Province, China, was the son of an American father and a Chinese mom. He was a regular on the ABC show for four years and in reruns around the world. Radames was required to shave his hair for the role of Caine. This was in addition to the pilot movie, where he was shown with his hair down before scenes showed his head being shaved. In all subsequent episodes, he was bald. He was mostly seen working with Asian-American veterans Keye Luke (blind Master Po), Philip Ahn (“Master Kan”), and Richard Loo (“Master Sun”) in the series. Most of the time he was shown living in a Shaolin monastery where he was taught by Shaolin masters. He is the first person to be accepted into a Shaolin monastery who is not of Chinese descent. David Carradine played the main role as Kwai Chang Caine, an adult.

Pera developed other interests in video and electronics and eventually formed his own company, All Systems Go! in L.A. in 1988, designing and installing home theaters and residential sound systems. For several years he specialized in eliminating remote control clutter and other AV and WiFi solutions at his San Diego-based company. After moving with his wife and daughter to France in 2017, Pera has written his memoirs and is currently seeking a publisher. He has also returned to his first craft of acting.

Radames, eight years old, was approached by Daniel Mann to portray the dying role of Anthony Quinn’s son and Irene Papas in A Dream of Kings (1969). Radames met Mann at a dinner party, and was ultimately cast as Stavros.
