Peter Nicholas Williams (born 14 December 1958) is an English-born former physical education, and history teacher, a physiotherapist and dual-code international rugby union, and professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s and 1990s. He played representative level rugby union (RU) for England and Lancashire, and at club level for Orrell R.U.F.C., as a Fly-half, i.e. number 10, and representative level rugby league (RL) for Great Britain and Wales, and at club level for Salford, as a centre. Peter Williams was the second footballer, after Thomas Woods, to play rugby union for England, and rugby league for Wales.
Williams won caps for England (RU) while at Orrell in the 1987 Five Nations Championship against Scotland and in the 1987 Rugby World Cup against Australia, Japan, and Wales.
