Peter Ferraro is one of the most popular and richest Ice Hockey Player who was born on January 24, 1973 in Port Jefferson, United States. Peter Joseph Ferraro (born January 24 1973) is an American former professional ice hockey player playing in the National Hockey League (NHL). He along with the twin brothers Chris became the second pair of identical twins playing with the same NHL team (the New York Rangers) during the 1995-96 NHL hockey year. The first pair was Ron Sutter and Rich Sutter.
Ferraro is currently running Ferraro Brothers Elite Hockey with his brother Chris at Newbridge Ice Arena in Bellmore, NY. Ferraro was one of the finalists in The 2012 Portland Pirates Hall Of Fame.
Both brothers were part of The DEG Metro Stars of the DEL during the season 2005/06. Ferraro has signed an agreement for the New York Islanders and attended the team’s training camp in 2006-07. He had previously stated that he was interested in a position as a player with the team’s minor league club named The Bridgeport Sound Tigers, as he was not able to make an NHL team. On the 27th of March, 2009 the Las Vegas Wranglers announced that Ferraro was banned for the rest during the season as well as playoffs because of Ferraro attacking another player following an on-ice fight. In the same brawl his brother Chris was injured and broke his leg that also brought an end to his season and his career. On April 1, 2009, his release was announced by his position with the Las Vegas Wranglers.

Ferraro is a native of Port Jefferson, New York. When he was a kid Ferraro, along with his brother Chris took part in the 1985 1986 and 1987 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournaments along with teams from the Philadelphia Flyers and New York Rangers minor teams of ice hockey.
It was his first twin to be selected into the NHL and was picked at the beginning of the round (#24 overall) in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Rangers.
The brothers were inducted into the Suffolk Sports Hall of Fame on Long Island in the Hockey Category with the Class of 2012.
