In 2000 and 2001 In 2000-2001, she wrestled in the role of Thug as part of David McLane’s television Women of Wrestling promotion, in which she often fought with her long-time competitor Selina Majors (previously known in the role of Bambi). Thug was defeated by Majors in an iron cage match during The WOW Unleashed pay-per-view event. On camera, Majors as well as Thug served as coaches for the young talents.

As of 1990, she participated at the World Championship Wrestling and was defeated by Bambi on WCW Worldwide. She later became a member of with the Ladies Professional Wrestling Association and was a part of the team under the name of Lady X. They defeated Susan Sexton on January 31 of the 31st of January, 1991 at Laughlin, Nevada to win the LPWA Championship. In the LPWA Super Ladies Showdown pay-per-view event, she was unable to win to win the LPWA Championship when she was defeated by Terri Power. Following the LPWA was shut down, she went back into the independent world circuit. She wrestled in WCW’s Women’s Pro Wrestling organization in the beginning of 1990s. The year 1997 saw her returned to WCW and began to compete in an opportunity to win the WCW Women’s Championship. In WCW she wrestled her previous AWA opponent, Madusa, who was the top competitor during that time..
