Javaheri began his career as a news anchor for Arizona State University in 2002. He was in charge and created the school’s first weather department for NewsWatch TV, an in-school news channel that was broadcast across all of the State of Arizona. Just one week before the end of his studies, he accepted an appointment as a meteorologist within Utah in KCSG. He was then elevated to chief meteorologist and was in charge of the entire weather department.
