Following Miss Thailand, Paweensuda Drouin focused on her education and deviated from pageantry. In 2017, she returned to the pageant, participating for Miss Universe Thailand 2017. Drouin was later ranked in the second place in the competition to Maria Poonlertlarp and also won the prize called Miss Smile. After her performance at Miss Universe Thailand 2017, Drouin was selected as the representative of Thailand for Miss Earth 2017, where she finished in the Top 8. A year later, Paweensuda Drouin returned to Miss Universe Thailand and competed in Miss Universe Thailand 2019. As a leading contender for the title, Drouin went on to be the winner of the contest, and was named by the title holder, Sophida Kanchanarin as well as Catriona Gray from the Philippines who had previously been named Miss Universe 2018. In the contest she was awarded her the Best Swimsuit, Perfect Poses, Miss Popular Vote awards and was among the eight contestants who received with the Golden Tiara. Drouin was a representative of Thailand during Miss Universe 2019. and placed in the top 5 finalist.
