He was awarded all-state and all- conference awards as a senior defensive tackle in Boston College High School. He was awarded All-America recognition through Prep Star as well as USA Today. He recorded 40 tackles in his senior year and was team captain. He was a part of the 1997 Massachusetts Shriners Football Classic.

As an assistant to a graduate student in Boston College, he was part of the coaching staff, which guided Boston College to win two bowl appearances. Zukauskas was a defensive aspect of the ball in the linebackers and assisted the coach Luke Kuechly and Mark Herzlich. The BC defense was ranked as in the top spot at. one in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) in total defense, and the BC defense was not. 1 in the nation for run defense in the year 2010.

In 2016, Zukauskas was inducted into the Boston College Hall of Fame.

During his time in the NFL he donated his time to various non-profit organizations, including building a home for Habitat For Humanity, building a playground for the United Way’s Hometown Huddle program, visiting children at the Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital, Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital and distributing turkeys to Cleveland residents during the holidays.

Following the passing of his mother , in the year 2003 Zukauskas and his dad Tom and his brother Tom Jr. created the charity The Ann Marie Zukauskas Fund, which is designed to offer scholarships to young mothers who want to pursue their studies. The fund also helps Broad Meadows Middle School, the school he was the principal of, and with special initiatives.

Paul Malcolm Zukauskas (born July 12th 1979) is an ex- American footballer. He played for the college team during his time at Boston College. He was selected in the seventh selection round by the Cleveland Browns in 2001 NFL Draft and was a player with the Browns from 2001 until 2004.

The four-year player who was the very first freshmen in 20 years to be a part of the Boston College offensive line in 1997. In his junior year the player was named an the Big East Conference’s second-team All-Big East pick in 1999. In 2014, the Lawrence Academy football team won the ISL and NEPSAC championships and also won the ISL Sportsmanship Award, awarded to the team that, in the eyes of its opponents, best exemplifies the ideals of Integrity, Sportsmanship, and Fair Play. Under the leadership of Zukauskas, the Spartans won the ISL championships in 2015, 2016, 2017 as well; and rounded off the 2017 season with a NEPSAC championship.
