Patricia Ceysens (born 5 June 1965) is an Belgian politician hailing from Flanders and a member of the Open Flemish Liberals and Democrats (Open VLD) party. She is also vice-chairman of the party. She was a member of the Flemish government between 2004 and 2009 serving as the Minister of Economy, Enterprise, Science, Innovation and Foreign Trade. Her current position is delegate in the Flemish Parliament.
After his resignation as Fientje Moerman on October 10, 2007 following a public procurement scandal Ceysens was again a part of the Flemish Government as he took the responsibilities of Moerman.
Since 1995, Ceysens is an elected member of the City Council of Leuven. She was briefly an official member on the council for provincial government of Flemish Brabant in 1995 until she was elected to the Flemish Parliament in 1995. In 1999 and 2004, she was re-elected following a cabinet reshuffle, Ceysens became part of the Flemish government and was the Flemish government minister for Economy, Foreign Trade and E-government from June 2003 until July 2004. Following the elections in the region in 2004 Ceysens was elected the leader of her parliamentary party in the Flemish parliament.

Patricia Ceysens started he professional career as an attorney on the Bar in Leuven between 1988 and 1999. From 1990 she was a lawyer in Brussels in the offices of Loeff, Claeys, Verbeke (now Allen & Overy Belgium) with a focus on Intellectual property rights.
