Pasuya Yao is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on December 4, 1965 in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Yao Wen-chih (Chinese: Yao Wen Zhi Pinyin: Yao Wenzhi ; Wade-Giles Yao Wen Chih born on December 4, 1965) is a Taiwanese politician who is also known under his English nickname Pasuya Yao. A part of the Democratic Progressive Party, he was a member of the Legislative Yuan from 2012 to in the year 2018.
Yao declared that he was going to be running for Taipei mayoral race for the second time in July 2017, the same month he announced his candidacy for the Taipei. Yao resigned from the legislature in November of 2018 to concentrate on his mayoral campaign.
On the 16th of January, 2016 Yao was elected to the legislature for the Taipei City 2nd constituency representing Shilin District and Datong District.
