Paige Mary Hourigan (born 3 February 1997) is a New Zealand tennis player. She has been awarded eight doubles and two singles title at the ITF tour during her professional career. She achieved her top ratings in singles as well as doubles following her wins in ITF title doubles matches both in Singapore as well as Surprise, Arizona early in 2019 and her ratings continued to increase after her winning streak continued through Mexico and Asia with both titles gaining the highest ranking on the 5th of August. With a wild card in one of the qualifying draws for the singles of the ASB Classic, Hourigan was again defeated by Valentina Ivanov who was defeated at the beginning of the round. She fared better in doubles. There she, along with her partner Taylor Townsend, she got towards her debut WTA final after defeating the second seed Kirsten Flipkens as well as Johanna Larsson in the semi-final. In the final, against the scratch team comprised of Eugenie Bouchard as well as Sofia Kenin, Hourigan and Townsend went through the first set, winning 6-1 and then lost the second set in the same way by identical scores. They first beat the third seeds Jovana Jaksic, and Giuliana Olmos. They then defeated two seeds Jacqueline Cako and Ingrid Neel and Ingrid Neel, in a stunning semi-final. They recovered from two set points behind between 2-5 and 30-40 to take five consecutive games and win the first set. In the second, it was a bit easier with them going on to take the win 7-5 and 7-5. In less than an hour, they returned to courts for their final where they prevailed in one set over Usue Maitane Arconada and Emina Bektas, and losing the second. The tie-break in the match saw the all-American team take an 8-5 advantage, and held the match with four points. Hourigan and Gauff were able to keep all four points in play to change the score to 9-9, however, they had to face another match point that they also saved. They lost their first point to make match point six, but fought back to tie the score at 11-11. They lost an opponent match point themselves before eventually beating 14-12 in an epic 18-minute battle.

The next destination to be made by Hourigan took her to her participation in the Fed Cup in Malaysia, in which she won two double-bagel victories in singles before falling by three sets Eudice Chong of Hong Kong. She was not in a doubles match, partnering together with Erin Routliffe to beat the team from Bangladesh. Then, moving into Europe, Hourigan was injured in her first game in Spain before traveling to Portugal in order at defending her singles title in Corroios. She first represented New Zealand in the Fed Cup in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, in 2017, winning two of her three singles matches.
