The album that followed Birthmarks debuted in 2001 by Sony Music Entertainment and was the first commercial success for Henry. Singles “Rescue” and “Sweet Instigator” were huge in Belgium as well as the album being certified platinum. Henry received the two Zamu Awards: best pop/rock and the best producer. Henry often appeared on TV and radio shows during the year, due to his recent success on chat shows like Aan tafel.
The fifth album, The Soft Machine, was released in September 2006.
The sixth album, Hvelreki, was released in October 2010.

In his early years Goddaer was a part of various local groups. He was a rapper in the group Word formed by the brother of his Jan Goddaer, he scored the cult hit “Henry Man-She” in 1994.
His career took off when Goddaer launched an independent career and adopted his stage name Ozark Henry. The debut album , I’m Looking For Something that’s already found Me came out in 1996 by Double T Music. Interviews with David Bowie praised the album as the “debut of the year” [1,] but the album did not have much commercial popularity.
His fourth album, The Sailor not the Sea was released in 2004, and was awarded a gold record the next year. Henry has also won another Zamu Award for best songwriter/composer.
