On May 30, 2017 Lindblom became a part of an entry-level, three-year agreement for the Philadelphia Flyers. He was later assigned for The Flyers AHL affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. On January 18, the 18th of January, Lindblom got the chance to take over the role of Danick Martel in the current AHL All-Star game. Lindblom was selected into the NHL for the first time on February 19, 2018. He scored the first NHL point on the 17th of March 2018, and recorded his very first NHL goal the next date with the Washington Capitals. After the Flyers loss in the first round of 2018’s Stanley Cup playoffs, Lindblom was assigned by the AHL to assist the Phantoms in their post-season campaign.
