Olivia played Fed Cup for the first time, taking on Germany in Germany in the World Group Playoffs. The team also included Samantha Stosur, Jarmila Gajdošová and Casey Dellacqua. Rogowska played in the second of the reverse singles but although pushing world No. 14 Angelique Kerber she eventually lost 3–6, 3–6. Rogowska began her professional journey with the ITF circuit when she was 14 years old she lost her initial round of qualifying in an event worth $25,000 at Mount Gambier. At age 15 she was victorious in the first ITF main-draw match in the $25,000 event in Melbourne. She was not a great 2007 season that saw her record for wins and losses of 3-9. However, her fortunes improved in 2008, and she reached her the first quarterfinal of her career in a $25,000 event in Berri after having qualified.
