She creates many educational materials. The book”What is the Carillon? was released with the help of Russian in 2009, as well as a CD Soul of the Bell; Russian Music on Carillon. In 2008, she composed the book Playing the skills of bells Parallels between Russian and Flemish traditions. Numerous workshops and seminars were designed to help Thereminvox (“Thereminvox: the art of the possible” and many others). A paper “How to compose music for thereminvox” was published. Olesya Rostovskaya is an author of two series of radio shows: Secrets of Musician and Don Carillon.

From 1993 until 2000 she completed her studies from Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory as a composer (Professor Albert Leman, the director of the Conservatory composer department Albert Leman) and in 2001, she graduated from Moscow Conservatory as organist (Professor – Oleg Yanchenko).
In 1998, she began studying the thereminvox along with Lydia Kavina. From 2003 Olesya Rostovskaya became a Russian bell-ringer. In 2006 she started to play the carillon. In 2008 she graduated in the Saint-Petersburg State University as carillonneur (Professor Jo Haazen). Jo Haazen) and in 2009 she also graduated from at the Royal Carillon School “Jef Denyn” in Mechelen, Belgium (Professor – Jo Haazen).
