Oleksiy Oleksiyovych Skrypnyk (Ukrainian: Oleksii Oleksiiovich Skripnik born on March 8, 1964, in Lviv) is an Ukrainian politician. Third on the party list of the Self Reliance party, he was elected to the Verkhovna Rada in the 2014 Ukrainian elections for the Ukrainian parliament. He was previously the chief executive officer of Eleks and resigned on November 14, 2014. Skrypnyk was not able to make it back to parliament after the 2019 Ukrainian Parliamentary elections.
From 1986 to 2000, he was employed in “Lvivenergo” (since 1995 at the Western Regional Dispatch Center, since 1998 with the Western Power System). Skrypnyk was formerly an Engineer for the Central Dispatcher Service (CDS) as well as acting as the deputy head for CDS for the ASDC within Lvivenergo, the West Regional Control Center Lvivenergo.
Since 2008 Skrypnyk worked as a senior lecturer at the Institute of Computer Science and Information Technology of the National University “Lviv Polytechnic”. He teaches Project management of software development and Project Workshop.
