She was spent her childhood within Llanidloes, Wales. she is now in Cardiff. Drift, a double-track single self- released in 2012 was her first single under the name of Novo Amor.

The first Novo Amor EP, Woodgate, NY, was released 31 March 2014 via Norwegian label Brilliance Records. Following the popularity this EP has enjoyed, Lacey released “Faux” which was a joint effort featuring Ed Tullett, on Dumont Dumont and Brilliance Records on 23 June 2014. The same month, Lacey also signed with UK publishing house BDi Music, part of Bucks Music Group.

On 10 November 2017, Lacey and Ed Tullett released Heiress, their full collaborative album on All Points.

On 26 May 2017, Bathing Beach, the second of Novo Amor’s EPs, was released via AllPoints, the in-house label of Believe Recordings.

“Callow”, a further single released by Novo Amor, was released 17 November 2014. The single was then followed with “Welcome to the Jungle” the Guns N’ ‘ Roses cover of an AXE/Lynx advertisement campaign, which debuted on the 6th of January in 2015, with the music video produced by Nabil. Lacey performed in Germany, Switzerland and Austria between April and May 2015 and was nominated for two Awards in the Music Week Sync Awards for the commercialization of his music. “Anchor”, another single from the band Novo Amor, was released 23 October, 2015.
