Nima Rezaei was a child of a family that is educated and of northern Iranian roots. His parents come born in Mazandaran province. The birth was on the 9th of June 1976. He was a student at the highly regarded Junior Alborz High School in Tehran located in College Crossroad, Tehran. He enrolled in into the TUMS School of Medicine in 1995. He was awarded the MD doctorate in the year 2002. He continued to study Molecular and Genetic Medicine, within the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, The University of Sheffield, UK and further obtained the PhD on Clinical Immunology and Human Genetics at the University of Sheffield. He was awarded a short-term Fellowship on the field of Clinical Immunology as well as the Bone Marrow Transplantation in Pediatric Immunology as well as Infectious Diseases & Northern Supra Regional Bone Marrow Transplant Unit for SCID and Related Disorders, Newcastle, UK and was awarded from the ESID (European Society for Immunodeficiency).

He has written more than 700 papers, including five books which were awarded the 10th 16th, 17th and 10th Avicenna Festival awards for best book of the year; “Primary Immunodeficiency Diseases”, Immunology of Aging” and “Cancer Immunology” series. He also received both the 18th and 12th Razi Research Festival on Medical Sciences distinction as a the most distinguished researcher in basic Sciences. In 2013, he was awarded an AAAAI (American Academy of Allergy, Asthma , and Immunology) award for Young Investigators in the International Society. Since 2014 His name is included in his fellow World most influential 1% of of scientists using the key indicators of science , the ESI.

Nima Rezaei (born in Qaem Shahr, Iran) is an Iranian scientist, who is a professor of clinical allergies and immunology within the Tehran University of Medical Sciences as well as the Associate Director of International Affairs at the School of Medicine and the Director of Global Academic Program (GAP). Nima Rezaei was the genius who is the founder and head of the Universal Scientific Education and Research Network (USERN). Rezaei is well-known for his work on primary immunodeficiencies, their diagnosis and treatment. He founded his own Iranian Primary Immunodeficiency Diseases Registry (IPIDR) in 1999 , under the supervision by Professor Asghar Aghamohammadi and earned him the most prestigious research award at the fourth Avicenna festival.
