Nikos Tselios is one of the most popular and richest Ice Hockey Player who was born on January 20, 1979 in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, United States. Nikos Tselios (Greek: Nikos Tselios born on 20 January 1979) is an ex- American professional defenseman in ice hockey. Tselios was the first draft selection to be selected by the Carolina Hurricanes when he was chosen 22nd overall in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft.
Tselios was able to make the NHL debut in his team the Carolina Hurricanes during the 2001-02 season, and played two games. These would be the last NHL games he played for the rest of his four seasons within the junior leagues. In the month of October, Tselios signed with KalPa of the Finnish SM-liiga. He played for KalPa up to January 31 after which he transferred towards Farjestads BK of the Swedish Elitserien. He scored his first goal in Farjestad on the 25th of March in the semifinal match of the Swedish Championship against HV 71. Then, he was a player with the United Hockey League with the Chicago Hounds before returning to Sweden to sign as a player with HK Orebro in the Swedish First Division which is the country’s third-tier.
Tselios is a relative to long-time NHL defensive player Chris Chelios. Tselios also played with the Greece National team during 2006 season.

When he was a kid, Tselios played in the 1993 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament as part of The Chicago Blacksawks minor ice hockey team.
