Neena Vikram verma, an Indian politician, was born 19 October 1960 in Madhya Pradesh. She is a member the Bharatiya Janata Party, and a Member the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly in Dhar Vidhan Sabha Constituency. Vikram Verma is her husband, a former Union Minister and senior BJP politician.

Verma was given a ticket by the BJP to run from the Dhar Constituency for the 2013 state assembly election. This election took place on 25 November. Balmukund Goutam was her main opponent, who she defeated by a margin of 11,482 voters.

Goutam challenged Verma’s election and the recounting process at the Madhya Pradesh High Court. Goutam claimed that the postal votes were not counted correctly. Goutam was ruled in favor by the Indore Bench of High Court on 19 October 2012. Verma’s election was declared null due to non-compliance with the provisions of Representation of Peoples Act. Verma filed a recrimination complaint against Goutam’s eligibility. He failed to disclose his criminal history in his affidavit when he submitted his nomination for the 2008 assembly election. This led to Verma violating section 33 (A), and section 123 of the Representation of People Act. The petition was rejected by the Court on 23 November 2012. Goutam was elected by the Court on August 14, 2013 and took his oath on September 24, 2013.

On 20 November 2017, the Madhya Pradesh High Court nullified Verma’s election after it was discovered that she left several columns in her affidavit blank.
