She has performed in all the major Moscow concert halls including the Great and Small Halls of Moscow Conservatory, Tchaikovsky Hall and the Svetlanov & Chamber Halls of Moscow International House of Music. She has performed in over 30 countries, including Russia, the United States and several countries of Western Europe and Eastern Europe. Her performances include the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia, Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra and Moscow State Symphony Orchestra. She also performed with the Moscow City Symphony Orchestra, Saint Petersburg State Symphony Orchestra, State Symphony Cinema Orchestra, Moscow State Symphony Orchestra, Saint Petersburg State Symphony Orchestra, Saint Petersburg State Symphony Orchestra “Classica”, Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra. The Academic Orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments of RTV. Osipov State Russian Folk Orchestra. Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto. Kyiv Chamber Orchestra (Ukraine). With great success, she has been a soloist and concertmaster for the Moscow State Radio Symphony Orchestra in the United States in 2004-2010. In different years, her partners were: Alexander Vedernikov and Pavel Sorokin; Pavel Kogan, Sergei Skripka and Vladimir Ponkin.

On April 8, 2017 in the Tartini House in Piran, Tokareva was a soloist in Giuseppe Tartini’s 325st Birthday Celebration Concert, performing on one of Tartini’s own 18th-century violins. Tokareva performed Devil’s Trill Sonata, as well as a number of works by Italian authors. The concert was broadcast live on Radio Slovenia.

She has been teaching at the Moscow Conservatory since 2002, as an assistant to Professor Eduard Grach. Since 2006, she has also taught in concert. From 2010 to 2013, she was an Associate Professor and Secretary of Department of Violin at the Moscow Conservatory. She was a Kurashiki Sakuyo University guest professor from 2006 to 2009. She was an associate professor at the Maimonides State Classical Academy in Moscow, from 2011 to 2014. Tokareva served as the concertmaster for RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra from 2011 to 2012. Tokareva, who was short-listed for the position, performed a concert in commemoration with Anton Nanut, a well-respected Slovenian conductor.
