Hippolyte joined Spartan South Midlands League First Division club Southall as a work experience loanee on 11 January 2013. Hippolyte scored his first goal against London Lions on the next day. He also scored a late equaliser in a draw of 2-2. On 5 March, he scored his second and final goal for the club in a 2-0 victory over Kings Langley. He was awarded the man of match award. After scoring two goals in his four appearances, Hippolyte returned home to Brentford after his loan ended.
In late January 2014, Hippolyte signed for Southern League Premier Division strugglers Burnham and scored four goals in 14 appearances before the end of the 2013–14 season.
After unsuccessful trials at Cambridge United, Blackburn Rovers, Oxford United, Charlton Athletic and York City, Hippolyte returned to Southall in November 2013. He made one appearance in a 0–0 league draw with Arlesey Town Reserves on 16 November. He later returned and made a further appearance towards the end of the 2013–14 season, in a 0–0 draw with Risborough Rangers on 1 May 2014.
Hippolyte joined Conference Premier club Tamworth as a trial player in November 2013. Hippolyte signed non-contract terms, and made his debut with the club in a 1-0 win over Coleshill Town in the Birmingham Senior Cup on 19 November. Hippolyte, who had continued training with the club was called into the squad to play in the FA Trophy match against Boston United on 14/12/12, but he was not used as a substitute. After the club refused to offer him a contract, he left.

Hippolyte is a forward. He started his career in London as a schoolboy at Westway, Harrow Youth League. Hippolyte also spent a brief time at Fulham Queens Park Rangers, Reading and Reading. In 2010, he joined Brentford’s youth system and signed a scholarship agreement on the 27th of June 2011. Hippolyte, his first year as a scholar was part of the youth team that advanced to the fourth round in the FA Youth Cup 2011. Hippolyte was a prolific scorer for the youth team. He also topped the team’s scoring charts in both of his years as a scholar. After not being offered a professional contract, he was released at the conclusion of the 2012-13 season. Hippolyte stated that he was “off the pitch” and was not a professional player. I was late for training and didn’t switch on enough. It was the worst outcome possible because, if it were due to my lack of ability, I could have accepted it.
Hippolyte joined Conference South club Hayes & Yeading United in December 2013. Hippolyte made his first appearance as a substitute for Concord Rangers in their 3-1 loss on 11 January 2014. Hippolyte left the club in January 2014 after a difficult period marked by weather-related postponements.
On 10 July 2014, Hippolyte signed for Scottish Championship club Livingston on a one-year deal, after impressing manager John McGlynn while on trial. Hippolyte’s debut for the club (the first professional appearance of his career) came in a Scottish Challenge Cup first round match versus Queen of the South on 26 July 2014. With the score at 2–2, he came on as a 70th-minute substitute for Gary Glen. In the extra time period, Hippolyte scored his first competitive goal for the club in an eventual 4–3 win and he went on to score four goals in his first eight games. Hippolyte started in the 4–0 2015 Scottish Challenge Cup Final victory over Alloa Athletic and won the first silverware of his career. He finished the 2014–15 season with 42 appearances and six goals, as Livi escaped relegation on the final day of the season. In late June 2015, he signed a new one-year contract.
