Muslim Salikhov is one of the most popular and richest Mixed Martial Artist who was born on June 9, 1984 in Makhachkala, Russia. Muslim Magomedovich Salikhov, Kumyk Dagestani-born Russian heavyweight Sanda Kickboxer and mixed Martial Artist (Kumyk; Muslim Salih Muhammatnie ulani; Russian: Muslim Magomedovich Salikhov) was born 9 June 1984 in Makhachkala. Salikhov Muslim, or Muslim Salihov can be used to name him. He is a multiple Wushu Sanda champion, and together with Hossein Ojaghi, the only non-Chinese winner of the Wushu Sanda King’s Cup.
Salikhov signed with M-1 Global in early 2013. He was preparing for his mixed- martial arts debut with Phuket Top Team. He fought three times to earn the promotion, remaining undefeated throughout this period.
In his debut for the promotion, Salikhov faced Alex Garcia on November 25, 2017 at UFC Fight Night 122. He lost the fight via submission in the second round.
On July 20, 2018, Salikhov was notified of a potential doping violation by USADA from an out-of-competition sample collected on June 7, 2018. On March 4, 2019 Salikhov was cleared of USADA suspension as USADA cannot determine if Salikhov had ingested oral Turinabol a year before he was signed to the UFC and entered the USADA drug-testing program.
Salikhov made his professional MMA debut on July 2011. He won two victories and lost one fight over the next year.

Salikhov was faced by Liu Hailong, who held the title of “King Of Sanda” at 2003 World Wushu Championships. Both were evenly matched and Liu Hailong was declared the winner. Salikhov was the Sanshou champion in the 2004 European Wushu Championships in Moscow. He also became the 2005 World Champion. Muslim Salikhov is frequently regarded as one of history’s greatest Wushu Sanda competitors.
He was the first non-Chinese participant in the “King of Sanda”, an international tournament held in Chongqing in February 2006. This made European Wushu Federation the strongest continental Wushu Federation. In 2007 and 2009, he won the world title again. He also won the Wushu Tournament Beijing 2008 gold medal. Salikhov was again the World Wushu Championships champion.
Beginning in 2015, Salikhov fought for various regional promotions in China and Russia. He has fought seven times over the last two years, again remaining undefeated in this run with six of the sevens wins coming via knockout.
