On 26 June 2013, Masoe signed a 2-year contract with Super League team St. Helens, commencing from the 2014 season, after being released from the final year of his Penrith Panthers’ contract.

He made his NRL debut against the Gold Coast Titans in round 12 of the 2010 NRL Season. Masoe was a Sydney Roosters player for 12 games during his debut season. The club reached the 2010 NRL Grand Final. Masoe didn’t feature in the finals campaign of the club or the decider.
