Lagdameo was the daughter of Enrique Lagdameo and Militza Quirino on July 25, 1975. She is the granddaughter of Antonio Quirino, and great-niece to President Elpidio Quirino. In 1995, she graduated from De La Salle University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce (Legal Management).
She was elected Makati’s Qst District Representative in 2010. She succeeded Teodoro Locsin Jr. who ran under the PDPLaban party. In 2013, she was re- elected, this time under the United Nationalist Alliance.
She was elected City Councilor of Makati City in 2004 from the 1st District. In 2007, she was re-elected.

Monique Yazmin Maria “Nik” Quirino Lagdameo, a Filipino politician, is Vice Mayor of Makati. She was born July 25, 1975. From 2010 to 2016, she was a member of the Philippine House of Representatives, representing Makati’s first District.
Lagdameo was a member of Sangguniang Kabataan, Makati’s Sangguniang Kabataan (SK), council. She was elected SK Chair in 1996 and held that position until 2002. During 2001-2002, she was also named the SK Federation Chairperson Makati City. This is a position that represents a sector on the Makati City Council. From 2002 to 2003, she would be the Consultant for the SK Federation.
In the wake of Junjun Binay’s ouster as Makati mayor by the Ombudsman of the Philippines in 2015, Lagdaméo announced her candidacy as Vice Mayor of Makati running with fellow Cong. Abigail Binay as Mayor of the city competing with Romulo “Kid” Peña Jr. and Karla Mercado. On May 9, 2016, Lagdaméo alongside Abigail Binay, won the vice-mayoral and mayoral elections, respectively. Took their oath of office on June 27, 2016. Lagdaméo’s first day as Vice Mayor of Makati began three days later on June 30. As a result, the Binay-Lagdaméo tandem became the first female duo to head as Mayor and Vice Mayor respectively.
