Mimi Areme is one of the most popular and richest Beauty Pageant Contestant who was born on September 28, 1988 in Volta Region, Ghana. Although she didn’t place as one of 25 semifinalists she still made her country proud. She was a good performer in Fast Tracks, including being in the Top 20 of Miss World Beach Beauty and Top Model. She was also the 1st runner up in Beauty With A Purpose, a contest about child trafficking and modern slavery trade.

Areme returned home to Ghana after Miss World 2010. She continued her studies in marketing at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration. She continued her Beauty With A Purpose program by creating a charity organization called “Areme Gives back”. She is now a member of the Emirates cabin crew.

As part of her pageant prize, Ms. Areme drove home a new Tata Safari 4X4 automobile. The car keys were handed to her by the Minister of Tourism, Mrs Juliana Azumah-Mensah, moments after Areme was declared Ghana’s 2009 beauty queen by 2008 winner, Miss Mawuse Appea. The car prize included a one-year servicing warranty from PHC Motors. Areme also received a GHc200 monthly allowance for one year, 10 gallons of fuel per week for one year, four pieces of ATL fabric every month for one year, and several other alluring indulgences. As Miss Ghana, Areme also became entitled to represent Ghana in the Miss World Pageant.

Miss Mimi Areme (a Sunyani Polytechnic student in HND Marketing) was twenty- years-old when she was elected Miss Ghana 2009. She was the grand finale to the national pageant held at Accra International Conference Center.
