Due to Ronnie O’Sullivan’s medical withdrawal, Wasley was unable to reach the Wuxi Classic. He lost 5-1 to Gerard Greene in round one of the Wuxi Classic. He also played in four other ranking events at the main venue, but lost in round one in each. He had a great run at European Tour events, winning the Kay Suzanne Memorial Cup, beating Peter Ebdon and Zhang Anda before being defeated by Jamie Jones, 4-3. Wasley finished 47th in the Order of Merit with two other 32 exits.
