Boyko Vassilev Petrov (Bulgarian: Boiko Vasilev Petrov ) (born on the 9th of January 1970) is a Bulgarian journalist and the creator and host of the show on TV every week Panorama which is telecast at Bulgarian National Television.
The year 1993 was the time that Boyko Vassilev assumed a full-time position at the central weekly report Panorama of BNT and made an impression as an expert on the Balkans. He was a prominent reporter on important events in the region which included for instance, the Bosnian conflict (1994-95) as well as the Kosovo conflict (1998-99) and in addition to the NATO attack on Yugoslavia (1999) and the events within Macedonia (2001). Vassilev was a regular commentator on international issues within the context of Panorama. He also hosted various episodes of the show, as well as filling the role of host for Ivan Garelov.
