After the 1983 release of the Plain Truth album on the U.K. power electronic label Broken Flag, Bianchi was a Jehovah’s Witness. Bianchi declared his retirement from music at the end 1983, saying that “The end was very near” and that “we have a very limited time to recognize our mistakes and redeem ourselves…” My life has now turned towards music and I have stopped doing it.

In 2005, a 2-CD-Set named Blut und Nebel was released, consisting of a remix of his first ten LPs. Bianchi submitted the set’s first CD, remixing the first 5 LPs from 1981 and 1982, to Wikipedia. The track, over 45 minutes long, is split into three .ogg files:

Bianchi was inspired to write about Tangerine Dream, Conrad Schnitzler, and Throbbing Gristle. Before he began to make cassettes under the name Sacher- Pelz, he wrote about music for Italian magazines. Before he changed to his own name, or “MB”, in 1980, he released four cassettes under the name Sacher-Pelz.

In 1981, William Bennett was also the head of Whitehouse and British Come Org. Bianchi was offered a contract by the label. Bianchi accepted it without any further investigation. The contract was based upon a joke contract that Steven Stapleton, Nurse With Wound, had drawn. Bianchi was granted all rights in the contract. After Bennett had edited the speeches of Nazi leaders into the tapes, the tape was published under the alias Leibstandarte SS MB. This is the name of the SS unit that served as Adolf Hitler’s bodyguards.

In 1998, encouraged by Alga Marghen label head Emanuele Carcano, who offered him a label of his own, Maurizio Bianchi resumed making music. The label was EEs’T Records, through which he released new editions of old MB albums and many new recordings.
