Mark Sale is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on February 27, 1972 in Burton upon Trent, England, United Kingdom. Mark David Sale (born 27 February 1972) is an English former professional footballer who was forward. More than 200 games within the Football League and many more in non-league football. He was the first team coach at Birmingham City from October 2014 until December 2016. In March 2017, he was appointed coach of the first team for Derby County. He was promoted to the first team in Stoke City in June 2018.
He was released from Colchester at the end of July and joined Rushden & Diamonds for a fee of a whopping PS30,000. He started playing regularly player in the team but was soon diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Disease and was treated with chemotherapy. He recovered fully and returned to the team in December of 2000, however, he was only able to play twice in the event that Rushden was crowned the winner of the Conference and then was promoted into the Football League.
In January 2008 he was appointed youth-team manager at Burton Albion, a role which he combined with working as football development officer for East Staffordshire Borough Council. When Burton manager Gary Rowett was appointed manager of Birmingham City in October 2014, Sale accompanied him as first-team coach. Rowett and his staff, Sale included, were sacked in December 2016. On 14 March 2017, he once again linked up with Rowett, this time as first-team coach of Derby County.
Sale followed Rowett to Stoke City in June 2018. He left Stoke on 8 January 2019.
In July 1995, he joined Mansfield Town for a fee of PS50,000. He was immediately part of the new team for the pre-season tour of Cyprus. He was on and off of the squad and was transferred for Colchester United for a fee of P23,500. His first appearance for Colchester was an 1-0 win over Mansfield. In the following season, Colchester was in the final of the Football League Trophy at Wembley to play in the Final match of the Football League Trophy.

Sale is a native of Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire and started his football career as a trainee for Stoke City. Sale made his league debut against Brighton & Hove Albion in May 1990. He also took part at home with Swindon Town.
He was let go by Stoke and did not play any more first-team games. He then joined non-league Rocester and later was signed by Birmingham City in March 1992. He then moved towards Torquay United for a fee of PS10,000. He enjoyed an excellent forward team together with Duane Darby. His performance at Torquay resulted in the transfer of PS20,000 into Preston North End where he was not a huge results.
Sale joined Doncaster Rovers in May 2001, played 15 times in the Conference, and was released at the end of the 2001–02 season. He initially agreed terms with Conference side Forest Green Rovers, but that fell through and he joined Tamworth in August 2002. He had a loan spell with Hucknall Town in September 2003 before moving to Alfreton Town in October 2003. In June 2005 he moved on to join Northwich Victoria, rejoining his former Hucknall manager Steve Burr, and helped Northwich to promotion back to the Conference National. Sale left Northwich in January 2007 to join Hednesford Town, but did not appear for the first team.
