Marie Helvin (born August 13 1952) is a British-born American former model for fashion, who was a frequent collaborator with David Bailey, to whom she was married from 1975 until 1985. In the 1970s and 1980s, she was featured in numerous fashion stories in British Vogue and also posed for naked photos taken by Bailey and published in his volume Trouble and Strife. They collaborated on four other photographic books and continue to collaborate on a variety of articles for British, French and Italian editions of Vogue.

The 1980s were the time when Helvin was able to leave mainstream modeling to work on radio and television covering topics ranging including travel and books, which eventually resulted in massive radio, television and advertisements, including that for Yves Saint Laurent and Olympus cameras. Her own collection was launched of swimwear/bodywear in 1990, and then went on to develop seasonal collections. She wrote two books, created an exercise and health video, and appeared on television and hosted a variety of shows, such as GMTV’s Helvin on Hawaii featuring her views regarding beauty and health.

In February 2009, she launched Marks & Spencer PORTFOLIO fashion range for women in their fifties. In late 2009 she featured as the face of a new demi couture range of luxury lingerie from Agent Provocateur, “Soiree”.
