Pushkina created the music magazine Zabriskie Rider in 1992. It was dedicated to the alternative underground scene of Europe, America, and Russia. The magazine’s name was created by merging the titles of two movies, Zabriskie Point & Easy Rider.

Margarita Anatolyevna Pukina (Russian: Margarita Antol’evna Poukina) was born 22 January 1952. She is a Russian singer, lyricist and writer. She has written lyrics for many Soviet and Russian rock bands, including Aria (and Kipelov).
Pushkina was a keen student of rock music and bardic poetry since a very young age. In 1970, she wrote her first song lyrics for Alexander Kutikov’s Everyone Must Fish the Sun Out Of The Sea Once. Pushkina was introduced to Leap Summer by Kutikov in 1976. This began her career as a writer for rock musicians.
In 2007 Pushkina started her own musical project (under the aegis of the Margenta project) named “The Dynasty of the Adherents”, which included participation from Arthur Berkut, Valery Kipelov, Sergey Mavrin, Sergey Terentyev, Sergey Skripnikov, and others.
