Marcis Liors Kadmanis FRSA (born Marcis Skadmanis on 29 May 1984) is a UK- based social entrepreneur and founder of World NGO Day which is observed annually on 27 February.
Marcis was a financial supporter and fundraiser for the extraordinary study of the Holocaust “Riga Ghetto List” (1941-1943) from 2003 to 2008. Tamara Zitcere. Zitcere’s Holocaust research was unique in scope and content. He was awarded the Society Unity Prize “For Contribution to Promoting Equal Opportunities” in 2007 for his support of Holocaust studies at Riga Ghetto.
In 2008, Skadmanis graduated from Turība University’s Faculty of Law, and he is both a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.), in addition to holding a Certificate of Social Entrepreneurship from Oxford University, Department for Continuing Education, 2017.
