Cruickshank, who free-dived to 50m, set the world record for Constant Weight with no fins on April 8, 2005. Cruickshank set the world record for the Free Immersion discipline on April 11, 2005. She pulled herself up and down a line to dive to 74m.
She was also cast in the 2009 documentary film The Cove.
