Olwyn Enright is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on July 1, 1974 in Birr, County Offaly, Ireland. Olwyn Enright (born on July 1, 1974) is an ex- Irish Fine Gael politician who was the Teachta Dala (TD) for the Laois-Offaly district from 2002 until 2011.

Enright was the party’s Spokesperson for Social and Family Affairs from 2007 until 2010. In June of 2010 she was a supporter of Richard Bruton’s presidential challenge to Enda Kenny. After Kenny’s victory, in a vote that affirmed her confidence Enright wasn’t reappointed back to the bench at the front.

The couple got married in July of 2005. Enright got married in July 2005 to Joe McHugh who was at the time the Fine Gael Senator. In the general election in 2007, McHugh was elected to the Dail to represent the Donegal North-East constituency. Enright kept her seat in Laois-Offaly they are the 3rd couple on the exact same Dail.

Enright was a member of Offaly County Council between 1999 until 2002. She was elected first to Dail Eireann in the general election in 2002 she became one of the few female candidates elected to represent the Laois Offaly constituency. In her first few months within the Dail she was named Fine Gael Spokesperson for Education and Science.

After 9 years of service, she retired with a once off lump sum payment of €129,800 and an annual pension of €22,542.
