Maggie Kigozi is one of the most popular and richest Physician who was born on July 5, 1950 in Fort Portal, Kabarole District, Uganda. Margaret Blick was born in Fort Portal to George William Blick (a civil engineer at the Uganda Ministry of Works and Transport) and Molly Johnson Blick (a fashion designer). Both her parents were born to English fathers and Baganda moms. Her father and siblings were both champion motorcycle riders in Uganda in the 1960s, 1970s. Margaret was a keen motorcycle rider. For her Ordinary Level education, she attended Aga Khan Primary School Kampala, Gayaza High school in Wakiso District, and Kololo Senior secondary School, Kampala for her Advanced Level education. Just before she turned 20, she entered Makerere University School of Medicine. She graduated in 1974 with the degrees of Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery.

Margaret Blick Kigozi is commonly known as Maggie Kigozi. She is a Ugandan doctor, business consultant and educator. She is a consultant to the United Nations Industrial Development Organization. From 1999 to 2011, she was the Executive Director at the Uganda Investment Authority (UIA).

Following the death of her husband in 1994, she became the Marketing Director at Crown Bottlers Uganda Limited. She was also appointed a board member of the Uganda Manufacturers Association during her time at Crown Bottlers. She was employed at the bottling firm until 1999 when she was appointed as Executive Director of Uganda Investment Authority (UIA). She was the first person to hold that position at UIA, and also the first woman.
